![]() you will make tuff choices in the game as well that screw with your emotions this is the first gta were instead of it just being an action game it has enough fun and a focus on story telling to be diffrant and include all that other fun. after saving him you are kidnapped and have 2 missions do what ever it takes to keep roman alive and finding that american dream! that story is so awesome and its really fun to see how bad it gets for our 2 characters. but once he gets there he finds the opposite roman is i lying drunk man who is balls deep in debt with loan sharks and other criminal scum of the city. ![]() he heres the word that his cousin roman is living what this games definition of what the american dream is. the story is incredible and you feel emotion for whats happening! nikko bellic is a man who just left a world of crime and warfare. However I think there just is no upstep from rdr2 on the 8th gen, ESPECIALLY considering that GtaVI's map will be significantly larger than rdr2's, much more dense, with many more npcs, cars, buildings etc, all of which has to be rendered, much of it with reflections and if that wasn't enough, people always expect an upstep, which is why character models, textures, lighting etc are basically required to look better than in Rockstars latest game. Now i have not beat grand theft auto 4 in a long time but my memories are clear of how great it was!!! i spent 49 hours in this game dude for now i have not beat grand theft auto 4 in a long time but my memories are clear of how great it was!!! i spent 49 hours in this game dude for some perspective it took me about 23 hours to beat gta 5 thats why this game has a higher score then gta 5. The "Rockstar advanced game engine"(RAGE) is a very powerful and adaptive tool, which becomes apparent when you compare the graphics of GtaV on ps3 and rdr2 now(both based on the RAGE). ![]() Rdr2 pushes the limits of what is possible on the PS4 and XB1, just like GtaV did on the 3 and 360. the framerate drops significantly, the console sounds like a jet engine, you name it. You can see this especially in areas like valentine or saint denis. Rockstar has already pushed the limits of the 8th gen consoles with rdr2. I think the game would be held back if it were to release on current gen. I'm NOT saying I want GTA VI to be released on the current generation of consoles! In fact I want the opposite. What do you guys think about this? I love that they put 100% into the development of their games, but I just feel that one game per generation of consoles is kinda lazy tbh, especially when you consider how much they have earned from their games over the years. RDR2! Red Dead was proof of what R* can do with current gen hardware.Īnyway, my point is that R* have essentially only made one game for this generation, and as you can see the amount of games they release has been decreasing in recent years. GTA V and Online are SUPPORTED on current gen, but they were not made for current gen, and that is very clear if you compare it to any true current gen game in terms of performance and graphics e.g. I don't know how to feel about this, I think a large AAA developer should aim to put out at least 2 games per generation.Ġ2' Grand Theft Auto Vice City - PS2 & XboxĠ4' Grand Theft Auto San Andreas - PS2 & XboxĠ5' GTA: Liberty City Stories - PS2 & PSPĠ9' GTA: The Ballad of Gay Tony - Expansionġ3' Grand Theft Auto Online - Online Expansionġ8' Read Dead Redemption 2 - PS4 & Xbox OneĪs you can see, between 2013 (GTA V release) and the potential release date of GTA IV the only game Rockstar has released FOR the current generation of consoles is RDR2, and before people say that GTA V is current gen.It isn't! I play GTA San Andreas on current gen consoles, that doesn't make it a current gen game!
